Is it a frog? Is it a fish? No, it’s a Buzzing Warmouth! This lure is great for rigging weedless and fishing the surface or shallow water, in and around weedbeds. Rig the same way as you would a frog, a size 5/0 wide gap hook fits nicely (see photo above). Once correctly rigged, they are virtually weedless and can be thrown into reedbeds and skimmed across weedbeds without getting snagged. If you want to fish deeper water, try using a weighted hook. The Buzzing Warmouth has realistic eyes, vibrant colours and two paddle shaped feet to generate plenty of kicking action on the retrieve. There is a also a very deep cut belly slot, which allows the body to flex and easily expose the hook point when a fish takes the lure (it also means that you can rig this lure upright, as well as flat, with a suitably large weighted hook). Each pack contains 4pcs, nicely packaged to keep everything straight, ready for use.
